Centauri Health Solutions Announces 15th Consecutive HEDIS®Certification
One of few HEDIS management and reporting engines in U.S. certified since 2006
SCOTTSDALE (March 6, 2020) – Centauri Health Solutions, Inc. (“Centauri”), an innovative provider of healthcare technology and services, continues its market leadership as one of the few companies in the U.S. continuously certified since 2006 by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) for its HEDIS (Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set) management and reporting solution.
The certification is the most comprehensive offered and covers 88 HEDIS measures, all new Allowable Adjustments measures, all Electronic Clinical Data System (ECDS) measures, and systematic sampling for 2020 reporting.
The NCQA certification is the preeminent seal of quality for consumers and employers. HEDIS is used by more than 90 percent of U.S. health plans to measure performance on important dimensions of care and service.
“Centauri’s 15 consecutive years of NCQA certification is a rare achievement in the industry,” said Centauri CEO Adam Miller. “For our clients, this showcases Centauri’s unwavering commitment to quality and the industry-leading service we provide through our custom engine designed to produce superior HEDIS reporting and submission and care gap management.”
The Centauri Ascent Quality Suite of solutions includes three essential tools:
- Data Management and Report Solution – Reviews millions of claims quickly and accurately, allows multiple views into the data and population with drillable and customizable robust reports; and provides HEDIS audit support for all members and measures.
- Chart Management Solution – Easy-to-use, web-based chart review tool offers integrated chart scanning, annotation and note-taking; and faxes chart requests from the tool directly to providers.
- Quality Improvement Management Solution – Proactively identifies gaps in care throughout the year, providing actionable data for quality improvement activities. Featuring flexible scheduling of reports based on client need, it tracks and trends results over time, including provider-level profile reports comparing results to peers and to prior performance.
“Centauri is especially proud to be able to include certification of measures based on the Rules for Allowable Adjustments, which NCQA introduced this year as a new set of requirements,” said Centauri Vice President of Clinical Solutions Melanie Richey. “This is a further evidence of the power of our end-to-end, web-based HEDIS solution that year-over-year continues to empower our clients with full-cycle quality reporting and submission support.”
